Interviews, Features, Guestmixes
PR needs to be a consistent endeavour, and whilst releases are the go-to highlight everyone thinks about, the gaps in-between releases are just as important. The aim is to keep you busy on a weekly basis with a flow of interviews, artist features, artist spotlights, editorials and guestmixes, together with keeping the press updated with a calendar of your upcoming plans and projects. One of the leading killers of growth for otherwise solid music projects is the energy to promote releases, but then leave the gaps in between as dead time. Demo Management / A&R Representation
MCPR works with artists from inception, through the process down to release of a production. Demo Management / A&R Representation starts with an expert review of your tracks, helping you get your creations to a level that’s attractive to the biggest and most relevant labels in your realm. Our team includes Producers that have released on the biggest electronic music labels in the world and are more than qualified to provide creative or technical production notes to get your demos shining. Using our extensive decade long catalogue of personal contacts at record labels, we’re then able to present demos, maximising chances of it being signed. MCPR handles the process from end-to-end: from preparing the demo package, to pitching it, to arranging contracts, down to coordinating assets and the release timeline and promo with the label, where we then link back to the Release Promotion process. Given that we’re constantly signing demos to labels for our roster, we know who is signing what and can guide you towards the right labels and A&Rs along the way. MCPR is able to ensure that your demos get heard by major labels and get a decision back in concrete form. With this powerful service, the days of unplayed or ignored e-mails to record label A&Rs or demo@ addresses is a distant memory. There is a better way to manage this side of a project, but without a team that knows what to do and who to approach, it’s a tough job to get attention from big labels.
